May 2026

  • Tool generation Free trial users can now generate 20 items instead of 15 for MCQs and Flashcards, and 25 Study sheets instead of 15. They can also generate 25 questions for Imported MCQs and 4 questions/answers for Mock exams instead of 3. Summaries and mind maps are still generated in full.

  • Definitions and Explanations Select a word and ask for its definition and etymology with a single click. Selecting a group of words or a sentence opens the option to ask for an explanation. Free feature available in the Summary, Study sheets, MCQ and Flashcards tabs.

  • Mock exams Option to exclude concepts already used in previous exam questions.

  • Mock exams Questions are now better calibrated to the exam duration and the character count. The longer the duration, the greater the number of concepts mobilised in each question.

  • Concept analysis Refinement of the engine that analyses the themes and concepts of the document you upload. The total number of concepts decreases slightly in favour of quality (merging of neighbouring concepts).

  • MCQ True answers and distractors (false answers) are now even harder to distinguish. Elimination of residual cues that allowed distractors to be ruled out mechanically.

  • Privacy & Confidentiality QuizMeUp no longer collects any personal data to measure its audience, in strict compliance with the law (GDPR). No advertising cookies, no individual tracking. No more cookie banner.

April 2026

  • First login A help bubble is shown for the first document upload.

  • Upload Before processing a file, its credit cost is shown and you can accept or cancel.

  • Tool generation Free trial users can now generate 15 items instead of 10 for MCQs, Flashcards and Study sheets, and 3 questions/answers for Mock exams. Summaries and mind maps are still generated in full.

  • Pricing Image-format documents now switch from per-page pricing to per-word pricing, like text-format documents.

  • Challenge Number of correct answers shown in real time during the game.

  • Mind maps The central node of the mind map now shows “Mind map” instead of the document name. This name is fully customisable.

  • Mind maps On creation, mind maps are now in “LIST” mode by default (instead of “RADIAL”).

  • Dashboard Number of sets shown in parentheses next to the number of items, for Flashcards, Study sheets and MCQs.

  • Mind maps Version 3.0 with enriched structure and improved graphics. Added a tree-view in “LIST” form, alongside the “RADIAL” form.

  • Dashboard (statistics) Past Mock exams added.

  • Dashboard (statistics) Choose which curves to display: MCQs, Flashcards or Mock exams.

  • Exam Question order is randomised and doesn't follow the lecture order.

  • Statistics Number of correct answers shown for the MCQs in the “Weak points” section of the Statistics tab.

  • Flashcards Memorization v2 mode – improved algorithm for managing the delay between two displays of the same card.

  • Interface On mobile, long names of generations (MCQs, Flashcards, Study sheets, Summaries, Mind maps, Mock exams) are now truncated with “…” instead of overflowing.

  • Login No more “419 Page Expired” error on the login form when multiple tabs are open.

  • MCQ Automatic quality control of generated questions – traps and factual errors are filtered out by a second AI pass.

  • YouTube Minimum duration of 60 seconds required for YouTube videos, to ensure relevant generation.

  • YouTube Direct generation from a YouTube video link – automatic transcript extraction.

  • AI Support for 15 languages — 9 more than the 6 languages of the interface and tools generation.

  • Privacy The source file (PDF, DOCX, etc.) is automatically deleted after text extraction, to respect copyright.

  • Upload Accurate page counting for DOCX and ODT files (±1-2 page accuracy compared with the original Word rendering).
